Pine Rivers Police Remembrance Day Service, September 29

Police Rememberance Day is a time to reflect on those who have died in the line of duty

On September 29, each year members of the Queensland Police Service and and the community of pause to remember the men and women that serve in the QPS.

is a very important day each year not only for the many police men and women that serve the community of Queensland and the Queensland Police Service but also for the community.

Those friends, family and colleagues of police officers pause to remember those  in our policing history who have lost their life serving the public of Queensland.

It recognises the unique nature of police service and the dangers that police face in their daily pursuits.

This years service details are as follows:

Location: Anglican Church, Wyllie St, Petrie

Date: Friday 29 September 2017

Time: 11 am

Guests are welcome to lay a floral tribute if they desire.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Police Legacy at the service.
